CUET 2023 – Course-wise Eligibility
CUET 2023 Eligibility criteria are different for all universities. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the particular university they are applying to before filling CUET 2023 Registration Form. Course-wise eligibility criteria are given below for students’ reference:
CUET 2023 Eligibility for Undergraduate Courses
1. Minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
2. Subjects required are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, And/ OR Biology depending on the course a candidate is applying for.
CUET 2023 Reservation Policy
The following reservation break-up will be followed by each Central University:

★ Some institutions might even have provisions for the Economically Weaker Sections, which can account for 10% of the total seats. These EWS seats will be carved out from the Open Category.
★ To avail of the reservation benefit based on caste (or any other category as specified), a candidate must be able to produce valid documents/certificates to support such claims.
Eligibility to Get Admission to DU on CUET Basis
The eligibility criteria to get admission in different courses of DU based on CUET are given below:
- A minimum 50% score is required from graduation or based on performance during the entrance exam to get admission in PG courses.
- 75% from certificates and trials and 25% from CUET scores must be required to get admission to sports or extracurricular activities and supplementary seats.
- 50% of a performance score and 50% of the CUET score must be required to apply for a B.A. (Hons).
- To apply for B.Sc. courses, at least 30% of the score from the CUET test will be accepted.

1. How Many Marks are required to Clear the CUET 2023 Exam?
Since most universities use CUET as a pathway to undergraduate admissions, competition is expected to be fierce. To be eligible to sit in the CUET 2023, students must obtain a minimum of 55%, and to qualify they should get 60% of the total marks
2. Who Qualifies for CUET Exam?
The candidates must have cleared Class 10+2 or equivalent or 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education, as per the CUET 2023 UG Eligibility Criteria.

For appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) – 2023 examination.
